Hydroconsciousness the Roadmap to Longevity
Hydroconsciousness, first used by an acclaimed Lifestyle medicine guru Dr Susana Adams.
It can be *defined as being deliberate and conscious of taking adequate water for the purpose of health improvement for longevity.
*Hydro stands for water and consciousness is that deliberate awareness that water is in fact the most critical element for our survival after oxygen.
The Importance of Water
According to prehistoric investigations, water preceded human existence; humans would not have survived without water.
You came into existence in a sac of water( Amniotic fluid).
Amniotic fluid, which is mostly water; is a clear, yellow fluid generated within the first 12 days following conception within the amniotic sac.
It surrounds the growing baby in the uterus. Think about it, If you get on a weighing scale, about 50% to 70% of what you see on that scale is water: So 50% to 70% of your total body mass is water.
Hence the importance of water. Unfortunately, with age and increased activities, our water intake reduces.
Once we stop taking in adequate amount of water, we begin to denature and kill our cells leading to rapid aging.
Hydroconsciousness as a Way of Life
According to CDC, 3.7 litres of water is about the adequate amount we should consume daily.
From a little math I did, drinking about 4 to 5 bottles of water(75cl), meets the daily requirements.
From the presentations I’ve done, I gather from the statistics of the participants over time that in a room of 50 or more, there is hardly 5 to 10 people that meet this water intake requirement.
Averagely, about 71% to 75% of people are chronically dehydrated.
This means that for everyone you meet, only about 25% may be adequately hydrated.
Put differently, for every 10 persons you see, only about 2 are well hydrated especially in the adult population.
Hydroconscious means just being water conscious for the purpose of health.
Your cells are like fishes in the aquarium or fishes in the ocean. If the water is not there, the fish will die.
Same as your cell, because anytime your cells are out of contact with water and dried out, they dies off.
By the time you’re thirsty, you’ve done so much damage to your cells that your brain receive a signal to dry up your throat so that you can put water into your system decrease cell death.
Daily Hydroconsciousness Routine
Apart from directly ingesting water. Other ways to get in water include drinking non-caffeinated herbal teas or juices; preferably green juices.
You can get water by eating Fruit and vegetable with lots of water such a water Melon or cucumber.
My advise is that is is so much easier to just do about 4 to 5 bottles of water, that way you can give your body a little extra using other sources of water intake mentioned above.
When you do not drink enough water, you kill yourself slowly. You end up with constipation, dehydration, dried skin, dried eyes, Ulcers, tiredness, headaches and more.
