Abdulwahid Abaukaka Yahaya is the Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist at Dr PhysiQ Centre. Abdulwahid obtained the B. Sc (Second Class Upper Division) in Biomedical Laboratory Science from the University of Maiduguri in 2013. He also holds an M. Sc in Medical Biotechnology from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. Abdulwahid also has a certificate in Advance T.B Molecular Diagnosis. He is Licensed to Practice as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

Abdulwahid has over nine (9) years of work experience having previously worked at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika Zaria from 2014-2015; Oseni Medical Complex, Auchi, Edo State, 2015; Federal Medical Centre, Bida Niger State (Medical Laboratory Scientist), 2015-2016;

Exodus Medical Laboratory, Nyanya, Abuja (Medical Laboratory Scientist), 2016; Wellington Clinic Abuja (Medical Laboratory Scientist), 2016-2017 amongst other places. Subsequently, he joined Dr PhysiQ Centre as the Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist in 2021 and continues to apply his vast knowledge and professionalism.

Yahaya’s professional journey is marked by exhaustive research work. He has three (3) academic publications to his credit and has delivered seventeen (17) seminar presentations on various subject areas of medical biotechnology at several scientific fora both in Nigeria and abroad.
