Pharm. Abigail Antai is the Superintendent Pharmacist of the Centre. Abigail received her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) from the University of Uyo, Nigeria before joining Dr. PhysiQ Global Health and Wellness Centre in 2022. She was a Principal Pharmacist at Rickmen Healthcare Limited, Abuja, Nigeria, from 2020 – 2022 having previously worked as a Pharmacist at Gwarinpa General Hospital, Abuja, Nigeria from 2019 -2020. She has also worked  as an Intern Pharmacist for National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD), Abuja, Nigeria from 2018 -2019 and as a Locum Pharmacist with Prolimsa Pharmacy, Uyo, Nigeria from 2016 – 2018.

With over six years of work experience, Pharm. Antai supervises the day-to-day running of the Pharmacy to manage and deliver excellent client-centered pharmaceutical care services, including compounding, drug dispensing, documentation, and counseling of patients on medication usage, lifestyle modification, as well as preventive measures for different disease conditions.

In April 2020, Abigail participated in the Community Immunity Ambassador program comprising online courses that provided crucial information and knowledge in the global fight against COVID-19 organized by Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dubai. Having successfully completed the series of courses, she became a Community Ambassador and a pioneer member of the one million ambassadors worldwide that pioneered the development of innovative solutions that benefitted wider communities, while adding value to the global efforts in containing the virus.

Abigail is an advocate of women’s leadership and sustainable global health. She loves to help people and is a good team player.
